Tony will charge you $346 for the mrev++ first, you install the mrev++
and send him your old core, he will credit you back $224. You always
have your car up and running
hope it helps,
Mike

No, you can't drive your car without the lower collector. Just get the newly modified LC from Tony and send your existing one back for a credit.

mrev++ seems very good, but still questionable (imho) if it offers much benefit for us people w/ the spacer already on non rev-ups (just because if you already have the spacer, it may not be worth 450 for 2-3 more hp......)

The total peak gains may only be a few hp. However, until we see the test data, we cannot gauge the gains under the curve. Remember, the MREV+ fitted on the RevUp engines did not improve much at the top, but it improved the hp and tq under the curve by quite a bit. The test data for the non RevUp needs to be seen before we can come to any conclusions.

Total newb here, would the MREV++ work just as well as the MREV+ or better on the 05 RevUp engine? Also how do we order at the sale price since the website is listed as $446?

At this moment, we know that the MREV+/spacer combo affords very good gains under the curve for the RevUp engines. Based on what I have read on My350Z, after todays testing, the MREV++/spacer combo did quite well on the non RevUp engine. The data will hopefully be posted soon, so that we can see the under the curve gains are for the non RevUp engine fitted with the MREV++.

Unfortunately, Tony did not have the time to test the complete MREV++/spacer combo on the RevUp engine, today

If you race your car get it...if you don't save your money and time. I am shooting for 13s with this boat and every pony counts...Already having a Crawford V5 means I have the same power as the spacer provides (Very Close), but the lower collector mods and the Iso Thermal characteristics make it all worth it for me...Hope that helps.

Andy, Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't the whole idea of the MREV+ and ++ to fix the hanis lack of torque specifically on the RevUp engines...b/c while making a peak 298 (or somewhere therein) BHP, they make that far too high for usefulness in the real world and after losing all the torque that they do they were just not getting the job done...hence the revised lower collector to get all that torque back and then the rest of the package to bring the power down into the useable range...and as a bonus, us non rev-up people see good gains and benefits as well.

but if all it does is raise power everywhere by +2 or 3 hp vs just a spacer, it really isn't worth almost 500.

They didnt get a chance to dyno the 6mt with spacer and mrev++. The only tested a 6mt with the mvrev++, though it made good tq gains in the mid range it lost too much up top. So you have to wait till tony does a mrev++ with spacer to see true potential on 6mt.

If you trade in your old lower collector the net price is like $122 or so...that's still worth it, but again, only if you race or if you don't already have the spacer.

+1 . . . This is excatly where Tony is at with regard to the MREV++ or the MREV v2, as some are starting to call it. Remember folks, Tony ran out of time. There has many different testing scenarios, with this newest lower collector.

As I posted earlier, the non RevUp engine did quite well with the new lower collector/5/16" spacer set-up.
