Please see this link if you're interested in GTech 0-60 results after the installation of the MREV++ kit a couple of weeks ago (Tony assured me that this was done with the latest machining, i.e., "++" mod, on the lower plenum) on my FX35 AWD. They should give you guys an idea of the "real-world" gains you can expect to get. The numbers will obviously be slower than what you guys are used to but I did pick up 0.25 secs.

http://www.infinitifx.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=9247

The FX35 has the standard non-revup VQ35 and picking up .25 secs on 0-60 tests indicates pretty good gains.

Interesting,

From my understanding, the new MREV Plus + lower collector just means that it's MREV Plus & lower collector. So it's just the same as the old MREV+ machining process without the core exchange. So we'll only get to keep our OEM core.

I don't see any difference except for the price went from $122(machine cost) + 222(core exchange) = 344 to a whooping $460.

I agree with AF. I'm also a DIY guy, of which I can do mild PP job. Specs of the bore out cylinders would help.

Thanks

I am also....
add to that, I have shipping across the US/CDN border to deal with.

BUT, I don't mind spending $ that is tested & proven with dyno results.
His R&D time is worth it to me.
Besides I have blown my share of $$ with T&E method of DIY

No, the MREV++ has more machining done to it. Its basically double the machining from what it used to be so the maching cost almost doubled as well. This is the reason for the cost difference.

It provides more flow area in the same manner as MREV+ but it extends the same concept to other areas of the plenum for the added performance.

I will have a sale on this new lower collector MREV++ but at the MREV+ price.
The core cost is fully refundable if you can send in a 280HP lower collector.
After the core exchange, you will only pay $122 for the mod.

I'll get all the details set up when the sale starts some time next week.

Tony

Sounds great Tony....
Not sure if you commented on this b4 or not...

If we have the lower ISO gasket installed now,
do we need a new one?

Yep, still impressive non the less.

Besides you never know. The gains could have been greater on a stock car.

This is just like the time when everyone was waiting for the MREV/MREV+ to be released.

I can't wait till i can buy this.

Tony,

Are you other distributors going to carry the MREV++ as well? Will they also be authorized to sell these at the sale price?
