MREV+ = 2 of the six intake ports ported/polished for more power.

MREV++ = 2 more, or 4 total, for more power.

Doing all 6 is not worth any gains.

Soooo, I would have to assume those 2 additional intake runners would be #'s 3 & 4?

This is quite interesting. I have just caught up on this thread. It seems that Tony has indeed performed another modification on the previously modified lower collector, which we all know as the MREV+. LOL . . . I haven't been paying much attention to this thread because for the most part it was started for the non RevUp engines.

His current test data show good gains on this second generation of the modified lower collector. What's even more intriguing is that the test was performed without a plenum spacer.

I am quite anxious to read and see what Tony's testing at Nissan yields. Looks like another potential mod added to my list.

Actually, I just got mine in the mail the other day and spent the weekend measuring the differences between a 2005 lower plenum; 2003 287 HP, and the new and improved MREV ++ .

I can say that all the work to the new and improved MREV ++ lower plenum is ONLY on cylinders # 1 & 2.

But out of respect to Tony and Motordyne engineering, I will not be publishing my findings ........ so don't even ask.

so did they just enlarge it? if so by how much? If people actually posted what they do, it could save others money. i'm a DIY type of guy and if it's something simple as a bore of cylinders 1 and 2 then i'd rather do it myself.

pics on the web site give you a pretty good idea. LINKY
I don't think Tony has made any kind of secret out of this.

It involves machining the top surface (shiney spot in pic)

You don't need to publish them now, you just foretold your findings!

Obviously the results were unfavorable or else you would have jumped to post them.

Are you sure you have the MREV++...It was my understanding that it was not even available until this week or next?

Soooo, you have the second generation of the MREV+, which is the new MREV++? I will be anxious to read/view the difference between the original MREV+ and the new MREV++. I need to some more digging around.

Tsk Tsk Tsk ....... aren't we being the positive person today ...... get a life

Performance results? ......I wouldn't know, I haven't installed the lower plenum yet and don't plan to dyno either. I was talking about the different plenum physical measurements. When everyone starts getting there new and improved MREV ++ lower plenums, I'm sure someone will let it slip and people will say ...... " why didn't I think of that?"

Enough said ...
