BTW - i called eric and told him about the situation. i'm going to the shop tomorrow to find out what clips they are using so eric can get some and distribute them as necessary when he sells impul/kenstyle/etc. skirts so others will not run into this problem.

body shop called me this morning and found a probllem...

BTW, all clips were removed. not just that one that i show in the picture

How much would you say it is off by? You could have them "shape and mold" it to fit. It may require some cutting and re-glassing but if it is really that bad send them back. Where did you get them from?

On mine we just put screws between where the clips were and painted over them. Worked great

yep, my body shop said they will do that as a last resort.

no offense. but the guy and i both think that will look like crap. yes yes how often do you see that? i'm a perfectionist and i have hopes to enter shows one day so id like it to be as clean as possible.

thanks for your suggestion though!

damn calvin. make me do everything for you. lol. jk.

anywayz...use crown bolts with some washers to mount them on.

then if you want a clean look, have your show fill over the bolts and paint it. make sure you really want these skirts cuz once you fill the indentations it'll be hard to take off.
