Hehe, all good. I can't even count the times someone has asked me/the forums about rain guards for the Seibon TS hood. In fact, I asked about it a while ago...

If you could get them done, I'm sure there would be people interested.

A lot of people fear that they will hydrolock their cars with vented hoods. I would just want the vent covers to help seal the dirt out.

Yeah the guards help keep a lot of dust, dirt and debris from getting in the motor. As far as the motor getting hydrolocked from rain I doubt it because the heat from the motor would evaporate prior to it being able to cause any significant damage tot he engine.

I don't think it's so much that. The vent really isn't that close to the intake filter. Especially if you have a stock intake box, or even the Stillen one, you don't have much to worry about. Even with an exposed intake, such as the p/c, it would take more than a couple of drops of water to hydrolock the engine.
