Just seen that my drivers side front sidemarker went out, put a new bulb and nothing happened. Took out the socket and found out that the whole inside was burned out so now I have to buy a new one. I need to detach the unit from the wires and put a whole new one on. Where can I find this? I been looking all over. HELP ME!

go to any junk yard, find a G35 or 350Z and cut one off. Replace yours with it and problem solved

 

The thing is I had already called all junk yards there is no g35 in their yards

 

Go to Infiniti dealer, or call Grubbs Infiniti (a vendor here) and order a license plate sub-harness. Part no. 26251-AM800 It will come with 2 of those connectors so you'll just cut off one and have a spare.

If you need the bulb socket also, that part no is 26244-72B00.

That bulb socket is also used on several different Nissans for license lamps and side markers, so you could also probably find one at a junkyard, just get the wiring pigtail also.

I think the dealership can sell just the pigtail. My sidemarker was ripped out once and took the plug with it. The body shop I went to ordered a pigtail from the dealership.

 

sorry dont mean to steal your thread but the wires to my socket was torn off. Can i just buy a new socket and attach it to the old wire and tape it up? im not really a handy man with these kind of problems but its worth a try.

The best bet is to go to a local pick-n-pull and cut the harness off a donor vehicle.

Or read one of the previous replies which has the Nissan part number you need for the socket.
