blown fuse

Doing some work last night shorted the sidemarkers out, and am pretty sure that I just blew their fuse. I have the service manuals and I've looked through them, but I've found it quite confusing. Does anybody know what # fuse I need to replace, or how to find out?

I thought you were a l33t engineer? Didn't they cover that in engineering 101? Open up the fuse box and LOOK.

Well Pete, there are 3 fuse blocks with a total of 80 fuses or so- and since I'm not that familiar with car fuses, I'm not sure if you can easily and visually identify which one is burnt out. Of course I'm going to look around and try to find it where I think it is, I just asked in the meantime if anyone knew off hand.

Like I said look in the fuse box. It tells you what fuses to use and also has spares. Cmon Mr.Engineer even my grandmother knows this.

For the side markers I'm not sure.. I blew the fuse for the stock high beams and that one is behind the battery. I'll try and look the info up for you when I get home.

There is a fuse for the clearance strip.,sidemarkers, and taillights. It is located in the 3rd fuse box behind the battery.

it's behind the battery. you have to take off the whole battery cover.. about 5 clips.. then take off the cover against the firewall/windshield (2 clips) AFter that you can access the fuse box behind the battery. it has all the lighting fuses.
