Re: CLOCK

you guys' rolex can't keep an accurate time???
I thought mechanical precision was what made rolex famous in the first place...
and about the month-with-less-than-30-day thingy? get the perpetual calender (I think that's what it's called) and it'll automatically adjust to the days of the month for the rest of your life, and even your kids'....

speaking of classy designs, the new Bentley has a indash analog clock made by Breitling, also availible as a watch... maybe if we can get a matching set of time pieces for both our cars and ourselves.... hmmmm....

Bye a digital clock, use old faithful duct tape and tape it over the old analog! Done deal. New post please! :-) just kidding my peeps.

Hey when I get my "cant see at night" analog clock replaced im going to request they give me the old one, put it on a chain and wear it around my kneck.....hence, matching clocks ;-)

Anyone smiling?

Re: CLOCK

I recently had the clock replaced. Now that I've lived with it for a few days, I now prefer it to the stock clock. And it is easier to see at night.

Re: CLOCK

Eh, I prefer analog in my nicer cars... but I can also read analog as quickly as glancing at digital. Who knew kindergarten would be so helpful??

PS. My old rolex keeps perfect time. My new one sucks. Looks like we just don't make things like we used to...

Re: CLOCK

Should have bought an Omega! It's good enough for BOND, it's good enough for me.

Re: CLOCK

My old OMEGA FlightMaster I bought back in 1967 sucked for keeping time. Looked cool, weighed about 1/2 pound (or so it seemed) and was always off by the end of the week. I should've bought the Rolex, or Bond's Seamaster. I still have it around here, still in the original box. Any Pilots out there looking for a classic timepiece?

Re: CLOCK

I have to check my clock to see if there is a visibility problem at night. If so, I'll take advantage of the recall. Quick question, how do you change the time on the clock without meeting so much resistance from the little dial used to move the needles? When I finally got around to changing it back to
Eastern Standard time, turning the dial was extremely difficult.

Re: CLOCK

Just twist the stalk slightly and wait, DO NOT force it! It's an electronic switch, so you're not trying to set it like on your wrist watch. Some have done this!

Re: CLOCK

That clock is the best, now we should complete it with 2 other gauges right next to clock, oil pressure on the left, nos pressure on the right, ITS PERFECT!

Thanks - Joey Avino

Re: CLOCK

I had a loaner for the past two days while my car was in for service. This gave me the opportunity to revisit this issue. The clock in the loaner was stock. I couldn't get over how small the hands were on the clock. I'd forgotten how tiny they were. The hands in the replacement clock is sized better. And the replacement clock is definitely easer to read in the day and night. Waaaaay better.
