Might be polarized? try inserting turning the lights 180 degrees and see if they light up. Make sure you push them into place and turn them to lock in.
Also, make sure they are properly seated. I remember mine giving me a hard time when I put 'em in, had to use some pressure to turn them.

 

I did all that. I even took the bulb out of the socket, touched the end wire of the bulb and touch it against the circuit board, still the damn thing won't work.

To those that do not already know, the orange tint from the stock bulb is actually come from the orange plastic cover, peel that off and put it on ur clear bulb and I bet it'd match the rest of the car.

 

+1 on the Honda dealership. Called the Infiniti dealership and they wanted $15 a bulb. Called Honda......$3.57 plus tax.

 

If I check with Honda, do I get the base as well as the bulb? They didn't seem to sell the bulb on it's own and was charging $11 for a bulb and a base. I'm in Canada too so that may be the difference in price.

Thank you for making this thread. I'm new to the forum and I went through the procedure yesterday to change my clock lights. Unfortunately when I got to the back of the clock I noticed that the entire light fixtures (bulb and base) were missing. I know I saw someone else who had the same experience, where would be the best place to purchase the whole fixtures as opposed to just the bulbs? Thank you guys for your help.

To remove the trim piece around the clock (and lots of other pieces too) go to
Harbor Freight Tools or Northern Tool and get a set of their trim removal tools. They are specially made plastic tools for removing trim pieces and they will not scratch up your car like screwdrivers or putty knives will. They come in a set of five or six tools for less than 10 bucks. Use the one with a gentle hook on the end and pull the trim around the clock straight out toward you. It pops right out.

maybe i should have went with those, instead of the "older" neo-wedge LEDs..cause i installed mine yesterday/last night and theyre not that bright at allllll...I was pretty disappointed..
