There are a couple of semi-DIY's for the Coupe, but I don't remember seeing one for the Sedan. You'll have to search for them, but I know they're out there.

I have non projector lights (05), would I have a "HID ballast"?

Yes, all HID/Xenon headlights use a ballast.

If you're not sure you have HID/Xenon headlights, you can check by looking in the front lower portion of the lens and should see a "D2R" stamped there. If you don't have it, then you don't have HIDs.

HID headlights are standard equipment on 2005 coupes and all HID headlights need a ballast to function... maybe that's a more complete answer.

Very nice can't wait to see pics installed I need to re seal mine with butyl I was getting moisture the first few weeks but now I don't for some reason so my lazy *** is taking my time ill post good pics after there sealed because I'm gonna restore them I don't want that white stuff from the oxidation to get inside that would suck

Yea I wanna buff mine out or something to get the spots n haze n whatever else is on it. And seal it with that 3m clear bra

I would really love to do this myself. But have 0 experience with most mods and not alot of patience. I wish there was someone on my area that could do it for me.

Go to youtube and watch HID installation some asian girl name jen installs 8k hid kit in her scion its a very good learning video ill post the link but it shows you what wires do what. There will be wires sticking out when the light goes in the oven just make sure that its not touching the cookie sheet
