^IDK about Wal*Mart...

I baked mine so many times I ended up with condensation pretty bad in one of them.

So I took it out, put it back in the oven, removed the lens, dried it out really good, baked it back together, and then ran a bead of clear silicone (The 100% silicone you get from home depot) along the edge that doesn't fit really tight and kinda has a bit of a gap.
Problem solved, no more moisture

For re-sealing, the Nissan rubber butyl is way expensive. I recommend getting some of this:

Do NOT use sillicone!

Don't need much since the old stuff is there, but it's there for further peace-of-mind.

I will be doing this for sure. Thanks for the write up Papa. I do have a question tho. Is there anywhere I can just purchase the lenses? I have polished the exterior of them already, yet they are still a little yellow and have some small cracks. They have 100K miles on them. If I am going to do all of this I want the lenses look fresh as well. Any idea's welcome.

Nope, you can only get the entire housing. These are not meant to be taken apart. There are aftermarket housings, but fit and finish is questionable. If you're going to replace them, a dealer is probably your best option.

Try using one of the headlight restoration kits like the one 3M makes before you decide to purchase additional lenses.

Hey guys,

So i tried this last night and only got to the baking part and I got stuck when i tried to take off the tabs that are on the sides. It was coming off but not enough and i was afraid i might mess it up. Do you guys have any easy way of doing this or maybe i was probably doing it wrong. Also when putting it back together do i need to use anything to put it back together or will it just snap back on after i take it out the oven again.

You just gently pry the little clips away from the lens, until you can pull it forward enough to keep them from snapping back in.

When you bake them back on, you just put the lens back on as much as you can, throw them in the oven for 5 mins, then finish pushing the lens on the remaining quarter inch or so.

And don't forget the three little screws.

Try putting them in for a couple more minutes. I put on some work-gloves while I took them out but the plastic should get hot enough where it move really easily at first, where you can almost reform the plastic. After a minute working with it, it cools down enough where it doesn't move as much but the butyl is still soft. You definitely have to muscle it a little bit but just make sure all the screws are out, and the tabs are bent out of the way, and start prying with a big flat head.

I'll give that a shot because when i took it out of the oven it wasn't even that hot. I picked it up with gloves, but when i sat it down. I was able to touch it with my bare hands. The tabs were coming off, but i kept on getting frustrated because it wasn't coming off all the way even though the butyl was still soft and then a minute passed by and it started to get to its normal temperature.
