Need help with HID bulbs

im not the most fluent in car modification language or experienced by any means

i want to get the bulb in my headlights changed to probably an 8000k color (which i understand is light blueish)
http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DD...ast-35W-or-55W

I need to know what all i need to get.
type of bulb?
harness?
wiring?
and the best place to get it all
also knowing how easy/hard it is to install and or maybe a guide
or if i get it installed how much am i looking to pay at a shop

Thankyou

2004 G35 Sedan - Midnight Blue

You need a carjack to lift your car up to install bulbs.

To buy the bulbs, get 6,000k you won't regret it

And hit up mrwong@statik at the vendor's marketplace under accessories. He sells them for $25 shipped for a PAIR which is a great deal.

There is no wiring involved, just plug and play.

Much more than that (8k 10k, etc) you will lose a light output. 6K will give you a slight blue hue, 8k will be purple.

Are your headlights oem hid? If so, you need a pair of D2R bulbs. If you want 8k, go for it, but light output starts to drop off over 6k.

First I will tell you it is illegal to retrofit a headlight not made for hid with an hid kit and it can cause glare to oncoming drivers.

That being said, do you have hid stock or did your car come with halogen? If it came with halogen you need the whole thing, bulb, ballast, igniter (sp?) and wiring. DDM sells the whole kit and it is plug and play. If you have stock hid then all you need is the bulb of your color choice. I am not familiar with Mr Wong at Statik, but I have read alot of positive reviews on here about his products and I am pretty sure his is the same (PNP). Mr Wong is also a vendor on here so that is a positive for him in my book.

All you need are the bulbs, d2r. 6000k are white and 8000k are blue. All this assuming they are for your g and that 04 sedans have hid.

I just ordered a pair of the 6k d2r myself.

$13 for bulbs is pretty cheap.
