screeching from brake.

My G35 is screeching from the front right wheel when I apply pressure to the brakes. im not sure if its the dust build up or I need new brake pads? when I wash em down with water (with pressure) the screeching goes away but returns after a while.

You should first check the condition of your pads on all four corners. So you're aware our cars wear out the rear brake pad first! Keeping your rotors/calipers clean is also a great idea...Gary

Screeching from brake is usually a sign that the pad is worn out and your wear indicator is now scratching your rotor. Best to get the pads changed out now before your rotors get scratched too much.

I just recently went through the same thing. I have a little over 24,000 miles on my 03. Sure enough it was the front pads. Replace them, bed them in and your good to go. The longer you go the more likely you could damage the rotor. I did not have to have my rotors turned. I have DBS slotted rotors sitting in the garage. Needed to do a quick fix this time around.
