I dunno Tyke/Nurse, I look at those pics and think "that doesn't look like a good start to the next story."
I do agree tho that if you squint and imagine, you can almost see Epic's car in a Fast and Furious mode....

Long story short.
I broke my hand installing headers. I'm in a cast on my right hand. Had a buddy put the trans up for me. Few things to go, the car is almost done.
I had typed out a hugely detailed story over the last hr..with my left hand, but the f@cking computer timed out and I lost it.
pics later

WTF?!
Buhh bye
Driver side motor mount came apart in my hands when I took it out. good time to replace them. I took out the long tube headers because they kept me from getting the last transmission out and made a mess. Installed some shorty headers that are wrapped with resonated test pipes.
This is how she sat for days.
Broken right hand
Still doin'work. ..a little slower.
Looking good epik, haven't been on for a while just saw the older posts, I really like your fitment on your grill, I got a matte black one and don't like it too much looking to get rid of it or throw it away lol
It just bugs me that it needs a little double sided tape on the bottom or it might be that I'm not installing it right.
Loving the whip, looks happy and flying haha

Something against Porsche C4S twists? The size suits the car well, and at 11" wide in the rear, I have room to grow. They are also going toward the theme of this build.
The hood will be at least partially covered eventually. Once the mecanicals are finished, I'll move on to the body.
Thanks for your input though. I go back and forth on my opinion of the hood in CF.
Got the other test pipe in, all o2 sensors installed, and filled the transmission. Installed the slave cylinder, but hasn't been bled yet. I filled the master with fluid and cracked the bleeder so it can gravity bleed over night.
I started her up on the jackstands tonight, ripped a few revs thru the open testpipes. Sounds pretty throaty. Can't wait to get the exhaust and everything else finished and drive her again. Really curious what the full exhaust will sound like now, that 2500 rpm buzz from the longtubes will be gone.
Stay Tuned

At first I didn't like the wheels and black hood like Tyke said, but on the ground with the drop and the front bumper, it all flows pretty well aesthetically. I didn't notice the rear bumper/exhaust setup before as I haven't followed the build thread, but it looks very unique. Although I would've gone with a straight tip instead of the downward one. But overall, great job on the build. Looks like you put some time, effort, and $$ on this.
btw sorry to hear about your injury.

The exhaust is a work in constant flux.. the downward turned tips are for a few reasons, to try and keep the rear bumper less sooty, and to give an exotic flavor. The borla muffler is canted up at about a 30* angle in the dead center, so the tips work with that too.
thanks for the comments, I appreciate you checking it out

I had spacer adaptors made from US Adaptors, they are perfect and even had them fit OEM Porsche 14mm lug studs in them. Using Porsche Fuchs lug nuts now too. Well spent $200 for that set of adaptors. Best thing is, there are ALOT of Porsche fitment wheels that are wide open now.
I can always use them on Porsche 944 also if I get bored on the G
I got a CEL on the way home, so booting up Cipher tells me that the evap solenoid I replaced with one from a newer Z, does not work on my 03 G. code p1444
I broke mine removing the trans.. because of where I hid my catch can, when the engine rocked backward. I fixed mine last night, out of town right now but I will toss it in the car when I get home and give it a run.
Stay tuned
