What does this mean? I'm confused.

I've never heard of tires poking, only wheels. If anything, going with the same tire size, the Generals will be less of a stretch since they run larger while the Nankangs run smaller, but closer to true.

You can't compare tread wear ratings between companies. Every company uses their own standard. You can only compare within the same manufacturer.

With that said, generals do poke much better but they also run big so when ordering make sure you go with a size smaller to get the right fitment.

The nankang ns-II's have a lip protector so when you stretch, that still sticks out close to the outside of the barrell making it look like it's not as stretched.

Lev I'm running Nexen's and they have the best stretch I think but I could be wrong. My friend has General UHP on a 9.5 his is a 225/35/19 my stretch on my Nexen N3000 is a 235/35 but stretches like a 225

Your 235 stretches like his 225 or another tire's 225?

My Nexen N3000 235/35/19 is wrapped around a 9.5 and it stretched like a 225. My friend has General UHP on a 9.5, 225/35/19 and it looks like it has the same stretch as my Nexen

In that case the Nexen would seem to run true since the Generals run large. A General 225/35 would be like running a Hankook 235/35. Might have to consider the Nexen. Any idea how they do well with extreme stretches getting on and bubbling wise? I'll be doing a 245/30 with that if I do.

Lev, I'm not sure about any bubbling issues yet, but I haven't had any issues with these tires. These are my second set of tires. Cliff ran Nexen tires on his sedan as well awhile back from what I remembered.

I think I might sell my Re-11s and stretch more.... I just don't wanna spend the money when the Re11s are brand new.

Rawr.
