Then again Platinum VIP guys, well most of them run air ride suspension, so tire contact is not an issue to them for you, running on the side wall daily man I'd be scared

Platinum VIP cup kit is the furthest I'll go, but static is the way to roll. Next setup I won't have to worry about extreme negative camber. Prob be around -5 or -6. By that time I'll have a widebody and radiused fenders. Or something along those lines. Wheels will clear just barely within the fender. Only reason why i'd do the cup kit is because unlike bags it uses 100% of your coilovers when not in use. And they're meant to be driven not in use, even though you can drive with it aired up. I'd only use for extreme cases.

I love daily driving my car and people asking if I'm on bags and then getting the surprised look that it just lays low like that.

Also, this time around I'm looking to get more clearance from the tire, running a little more stretch. If I can do that, then I can solve the tire rubbing issue. If the stretch doesn't fix things, then more negative camber will.

Are the nexens rounded or squared tires? I'm also considering Triangle tires. Heard they stretch well too.

235/35 on a 10.. if i remember correctly haha

 

Lol. Gotta be a 19, right? Cos I tried ordering the 235/35 in 20 and they don't make it. I ended up going with a 245/30. Turns out they do run a little small. They're smaller than hankooks based on some pics i found. I'll be getting the fires mounted on the wheels tomorrow so we'll see. Thanks for the pic!

 

There was a guy on my350z telling me that the Achilles tire was great for stretching.......

 

Most of the cheaper tires are great for stretching because of the lack of reinforced sidewall. A lot of guys run tires that most people would normally look over (nankang, nexen, achilles, traingle, diamondback, etc). Then again there are some that people would buy (hankook, toyo, some falkens, etc).

It's so good that cheap tires work well with stretched application. People say they spend 1k+ on tires and here I'm spending <500. You can literally get new tires mounted and balanced in the high 300's to low 400's for 20's. How awesome is that?

 

Yea I bought my two fronts "20's" for 100 bucks apiece brand new. "GOLDWAY"'s lol they seem to be holding up good. But rawr like a dump truck. Lol

 

I'm debating on not being so hella flush in the front and just being as hammed as possible. Or raising it a tad and leave the spacers on? Hmm. 19's was easy. But 20's u got to do work. Also got fully Poilshed wheel houses in the rear. Lol

 

Cliff you've always been more agressive up front than the rear IIRC. You can afford to go 5mm (or 10) less aggressive up front, will still look very sick.

 

Yea but then it sunk in lol I think I have been so use to the flush look, it just look weird any other way. But I have to make up my mind before I fix the fenders.
