Pic Request, 05/06 VS. 03/04 Headlights

Anyone have a side by side? I'm curious just how different they really are. Haven't had much luck in just looking at pictures, and there aren't many 05/06 Sedans around my area that I've had a chance to park next to

FYI, the purpose of this is to start planning a full redesign of the outside of the 2003.5 I just bought, contemplating a 05/06 conversion but want to weigh the differences more heavily before deciding.

TIA

The bottom inside corner of the 05/06 headlights are different from the 03/04.
Also the housings are different as well.

don't bother w/a 05-06 front end conversion, it'll only limit any other future modding significantly

This is why I want to have a closer look at the headlights, if the shape signifigantly increases the appeal, then it's worth it, otherwise I see no point. I can just buy aftermarket hood, bumper, etc. to get the look I want, and black out the headlights, which I'll likely do anyways.

Actually I was thinking of trying a carbon fiber wrap instead of just painting them black, I've always wanted to try it..... High quality stuff though not the cheap "printed on" stuff of course.

And I'm actually considering putting halos in there too, normally I'm quite opposed to doing it on anything but a Bimmer, but it looks decent on these cars from what I've seen so far.

I would stick with the 03/04s. If you ever want to do a retrofit you can get a spare set of 03/04s for very cheap compared to the 05/06s. Also like Mark (SDGenius) said you'll limit your options greatly (body kit wise) by converting to an 05/06.

Those are incredible comparison pictures, thanks SO much man.

While I do agree with all your comments about sticking with the 03/04, I have to say, from those pics the 05/06 are a lot different, much narrower, and much more striking ~ like the coupe headlights.

The 03/04 are a lot more clumsy and bulgy.

I am having a hard time seeing the difference in the fender though, I see major differences in the hood and the bumper (around the headlight), but no visible difference in the fenders from those pics.

Fenders are exactly the same for 03-06 Sedans. The only differences in the front end are the headlights, grill, hood and bumper.
