New to the forums.

Names Mike, I've been lurking for awhile posting here and there, but finally ended up driving the G home tonite...

so far I'm loving it, but while I'm putting myself through school, I won't be jumping into the modding scene just yet. Got a pretty "ok" deal on it, for the miles and condition it was in. Sorry for the bad picture

Anyways, pleasure to meet you all, lookin forward to being a part of the community. Heres a few shots of my last car while I'm at it...

See you guys around

Welcome. Nice G. And very clean build on the accord. I've seen too many of those riced out but that gets a in my book.

Happy modding

Thanks

I tried to keep it as simple as I could, but looking back, I think I might have gotten alittle carried away.

With the G, I'll probably just go for some 2pc meisters, rolled fenders, and a drop and call it.

Welcome to the G family. I saw the pictures of your accord and that is one of very few tastefully modded accords. I definitely like.

And be careful with statement that you made. You'll end up like my friend Kevin.

Thanks for all the replies, glad you like the accord.

I ended up bringing an home a 5AT with 30k miles. Includes Premium and sport packages, but op'ed out of the nav since I'm using my iphone half the time to find **** anyways.

Kevin has got a pretty good ride goin for him. Haha, yea your right about your right goin back on what I said about the mods - I've already got my LEDs on the way lol. I'm always finding myself looking at it and telling myself what I'm going to change about it: INGs sides, Strafe/Hikkata Dori Trunk... nothing to crazy.

My biggest concern (in the future) is wheel fitment, and suspension. I did a good amount of research tryin to find the most appropriate setup for the CG, but in the end it was still alittle to conservative for me. Now, moving to a completely different platform, I want to do it once, and do it right. I want to try to push the limits with this car, but still keep it feasible... but theres always a trade off.

I know theres still alot of research to do, but I'm aiming for maybe 11s in the rear with single digit offsets... even if theres some fender pulling involved. I'm trying to avoid spacers, but the hellaflush movement is probably alittle over the top for me so maybe something like this:

I know alot of people get flamed for talking big without knowing what they're talking about, but I think as long as I take my time, do my research and ask the right questions... I should be ok
