dinged up non-rev up 2005 6mt (pretty much stock other than some scuffed AODHANs)
Picked up a 2005 Rev Up 6MT recently.
It hasn't had much done to it (I think) other than the diff being welded (it really makes it a pain to daily kinda) and some aftermarket headlights I put on (first car mod yay).
Got it about a month or two ago.
The car is fast enough as is so I'm not looking to make it go even faster, I'm looking to make it comfier instead. Plans are to upgrade brake rotors/swap pads, get some coilovers, and swap the differential for a stock one (I really hate the welded diff if you couldn't tell already).
Aesthetics weren't really the focus when I bought this car, hence all the dings, but I'll be hopefully swapping the hood/bumpers in the future.
Close to Sacramento and I've heard there's a big g35 scene there.
Looks like a fun project, I'm sort of suspicious about it being what you think it is though, it looks in that photo that it's got the regular DE engine not the rev-up. Sort of a bad angle to say for sure though but I don't see exhaust cam retarder on the sprocket cover.
Fortunately you can pick up another VLSD for pretty cheap, it's an easy swap. You can probably turn around and sell the welded diff for close to the same price that you pay for another VLSD so that won't technically cost anything other than time.

When I bought it, it wasn't advertised as Rev-Up but some stuff checks out? Tbh I don't mind if it's not Rev-Up, it was the best deal we could find in a 200 mile radius lol.
Is there anywhere you could suggest to sell the diff? I'm not too familiar with car community stuff yet.
