Hey GC, receive your G yet? If so, how did your tint job go?

 

I picked it up yesterday in Dayton! Boy is it great to drive! It is really hard to be good during the break in. I didn't have the dealer put the tint on. The car came in on Friday and I couldn't wait till next week to have tint put on. I will probably get it done in the next few weeks in Columbus. That is if I can let go of my G for that long. Did you get yours tinted?

 

I received mine last Tuesday, and I am still deciding on whether to tint or not. Kudos to you, I find it very hard to keep it under 4K, seems like this car begs for more. I am really impressed with this vehicle, it is all that they say it is and more. I can't stop driving the damn thing, I find almost every excuse to drive somewhere, hehehe. I am truely impressed, plus I had no hassle at the dealership whatsoever. I was out in 30 minutes! They had all the paper work drafted up, all I had to do was sign. I am very impressed with the car and the dealership. Maybe we need to tag team some tint installers and possibly get a discount.....

 

Yea, it is fun driving the G. I just washed her for the first time a few minutes ago. I wish we could take them up to Mid Ohio for a test run.
I am on vacation the 18-22, so I was thinking of checking out tint installers that week. How does that work for you?

 

Unfornately, I will be in Hawaii during that time for business. But be sure to let me know how everything turns out, I will also try to make some calls this week.

Hey, I just did mine this morning with Ziebart. Nice lady, and cost me about $184. It turns out that they also offer some protectant wax or something. What do you guys think, should I go with ziebart or zaino or crystal guard ?

 

how much does Ziebart want for the "protectant" and how long does it last?

 

I'm not sure, you can check at ziebart.com though. I will trust CG or Zaino instead of them because not only they are expensive, you really don't know the result of those "protectants". lol, just my opinion.
