Boston hotel help
For anyone with hotel connections/suggestions I'm looking for some help securing a hotel room during the busy Marathon period- April 14-18/06. I want something downtown Copley area fairly economical. Lower priced places I have found are already gone.
If you or someone you know can help I would really appreciate it
I may be reached by pm.
Thanks

Thanks for responding percoupeg35 and zealous. Looks like I'll have to keep looking right now. Incidentally the Hyatt on Lafayette is the partner hotel for swissotel since they don't really have a location in Boston. Rates varied by night but averaged about $310 which is definitely more than I want to lay out for a place to sleep for a few nights. Otherwise it would have been a good location for me.
Boston Hotel
I lived in Boston for 6 years. Your best bet is to stay in Newton. There is a Holiday Inn there and the Green Line goes right to the parking lot. Its usually under $100 a night depending on season and you dont have to worry about parking. The T only takes about 25 minutes to get into town. There are no cheap hotels in Boston especially in Copley. The Warf is even more expensive plus parking is outrageously priced.

Well if you are desperate, there is a Westin hotel actually attached to Copley place. It is probably around $250/night. My family has a condo literally RIGHT across from there. It is a great area.
