Hahah.. yeah thank goodness for alternate cars! I drive my WRX when it comes to snow. Can't take any chances on the G. They should let us call that a summer car, and cut down on the insurance rate

I woke up, opened the garage door and drove from Valley Forge to Bryn Mawr. Roads sucked...for those without Xs !!! LOL. It's nice to be able to drive the G no matter what mother nature deals out.

Last year I got caught in a nasty snow storm in my G35 Coupe with OEM 18" with the michelin sport tires.

I couldn't go anywhere...almost died.

This year I have an M35x for my winter car. But from my experiences the coupe with the oem sucked sooo bad it was unbelievable. I had a Z4 with sports package runflat 18" bridgestone tires and they were better (not that much better but better).

M35x is freakin incredible in the snow...never thought anything could be that good.

I also live in Bergenfield and I just got the Dunlop DS2 they were $430 shipped from the tirerack. The gas station across from the Wendys will put them on for $40. Forget about getting them at a tire store I got quotes for $787 and $687 for the Bridestones. And they didnt have any other brands at both tires stores.
