Custom Engine cover

Hey guys,

I got bored and decided to paint my engine cover but I was not happy with the way it came out so I decided I would trim the entire cover down and repaint the entire thing. I got the idea to do this from member XtremeCoupe, I did not think to do this all on my own.

It came out much better than I thought it would I painted the outiside of it with a textured black, and the inner part with a metalic silver, I wanted to keep the OEM color pattern. Then I put a couple coats of clear to give the cover some shine. I give it a 8/10, the only bad thing being the tape lines didn't come out great.

I snapped a few pics, but there is some glare. I was going to get a 350z engine cover, but I think I will use this cover for awhile now.

Let me know what you think

Tom

First thing I thought was a flower, lol. Then I thought bewbs. It used to have a 6-pack, now it just has two bewbs.

Take the cover off completely. Looks better without it.

Sick air diversion panel, though!

I'd gone matte black, it'd look real smooth. But that's very creative look. I havn't run my cover for a long time now...I really dont know where the cover is.
