the really cheap ones are going to have frame damage.

if i had to do mine all over again, i'd look for one totalled with HAIL damage, and swap all the body panels out for carbon fiber.

that frame damage is bad as hell. pull it all you want and itll never be the same...look at the chassis.

you are looking at new:
r/f fender
r/r quarter
rear bumper
r/s rocker cover
fuel filler door
rear mud guards
glass

mechanical:
new arms, new suspension and a hella lotta stuff

for repairs:
pull the inner quarter
pull the rocker
pull a ****load more things...probably around 20 hrs of pulling stuff

for paint:
3 stage paint is a bitch to match, if you go cheap its gonna reflect the amount you have put in.....properly i would just paint the entire car.

my 2 cents: dont do it

what frame damage are you talking about??? there is no frame damage!
Well I work at a bodyshop so pulling and cutting and welding is not a problem.
But I was looking if some one did something like that before with the G.

If you have the resources to fix it , handle your biz . I did . No frame damage, 2006 -10,013 miles, bought at auction for $10,500.Salvaged Title
Total price after repairs , tax & licensing $15,300 ( in 07). Worth every penny.

Judging by your questions I dont think you're ready for this kind of project. I mean... "are the control arms bent"? The wheels is basically pushed to the seats and you are wondering if they're bent? Hm... No offense, you're going to bite more than you can chew.

I buy & sell salvage cars all the time, been doing it since 94, & i can tell u that car is pretty much a "parts car" the only way to truly fix that car is to buy a complete rear clip & weld it on & pray that the shop doing it has the proper machine & skills to do it properly. OR... you can pull it & bondo it but it will look like sheit & most likely not drive like it supposed to

FYI Ive have repaired & sold 5 salvage G's since 05 & even my current personal G35 coupe was salvaged wen i bought it ....but i wouldnt buy this one except for parts

I bough a salvage G35 sedan...per body shop and mechanic check fram alignment each car has factory or stock measures that the frame should be. If its half an inch or anything less or more DO NOT BUY IT....Repairing suspention is a pain in the A$$ it will cost alot since the whole frame will have to be heated with clamp in order to be streighen and even so IT WILL NEVER BE THE SAME...if salvage only get the ones that are barely clipped without any suspention damage.. Just giving my 2 cents since i had to go through it already. Good Luck!
