that sound is the air being sucked in. i ve had mine for almost 2 years and it still kicks a$$

 

Do you guys really have to go through all that trouble just to clean the filter? It seems that there has to be a better option.

I just ordered the Nismo coldiar intake.... the price was good and it came w. the bypass valve (needed down in south florida w. all the rain we get).
Hopefully its as good as the Injen... Ill let you guys know, who knows maybe even get it dynoed, but i might wait till after i get headers and exhaust to dyno it.

Any reccomendations for headers and catback? I was looking into Brola for both... should i buy both same brand headers/exhaust? I would think it might be better that way since theyre probably designed around eachother for max performance... but my logic could be wrong.

 

i had injen intake for my 98 prelude and i loved it. i'm thinking about getting one for my 05 6mt.
hows the sound compared to z-tube/filter(pop charger or k/n) combo?
does it come with the bypass valve?
if not injen, what are some other brands that you can suggest?
