Joyriide Detailed: Porsche Cayman S

I was supposed to detail this car earlier this morning but could not get in contact with the owner, so i figured it was gonna be a no show. Owner called me midday to see if we could still get it done. He only wanted the exter, no engine, no interior, just paint work. Paint was a little gritty and contaminanted (nothing major) and swirling was present in the bright sun. Light correction was done to ensure high gloss and proper prep.

-Dawn Wash
-Claymagic Blue
-4000 grit sheet on rear hatch
-Meguiars Super Degreaser on tires, wells
-P21s Wheel Cleaner on wheels and exhaust

-Menzerna PO106ff via green foam pad @ 1500rpms
-Gold Class Wash
-Prepsol Wipedown
-Fk1 Hi Temp 1000p for protection

-Wenol Metal Polish on lip
-4000 grit sheet on tough spots of aluminum lip
-Optimum Hyper Compound on lip
-Mothers Billet polish on lip

-Meguiars HD 4:1 on wheel wells
-DP Tire Gloss on tires

Total detail time: 4 Hours, 15 minutes

Owner could not get over the smoothness only 4000grit fabric could leave, not even an agrressive claybar could replicate the results.

Yea, interior is to come, for now, the exterior is all that was touch. You guys would have gotten a kick out of the interior. It has a manual shift boot and shifter, but its an auto. You still pushed it all the way forward to aprk,a nd all the way back to drive. To each his own. I guess the owner wanted to have it look like a manual.
