+1 to ronnieballgame: the trunk just 'pops loose', it does not swing open automatically (based on experience with 2005 thru 2016 sedans)

OK let's examine this issue logically. The leak appears to be coming from the Steering rack correct? And what kind of fluid can be found in the Steering rack? Hmmm that would be power steering fluid only which would be my very edumacated guess w/o being there to see it in person as to what's leaking. Who are you some kind of n00b????

Yes but it must be Uber slow, as the level has not changed in years. Crazy! Thanks.

From what I've read:
The coupe midpipe flows better than the sedan midpipe
The HR y pipe flows better than all the DE y pipes - It's sorta longer after the cats and has an easier bend where the pipes converge.

I'm currently trying to solve this wear - must be a bushing/ball joint.

Driving/fog lights

Seems like the lower front intakes are made for them. Why else are they just plastic inserts that pop out so easily? However, all the ones I've seen are labeled for coupe only. Can they be made to fit? The shape seems very similar to the inserts on my sedan, but didn't want expensive paperweights if I'm wrong. Has anyone tried them?

The coupe grills don't fit sadly. Also the lower front grills are cheap plastic for cost savings not for mounting fog lights. Why would Infiniti make a part to be modified for the install of fog lights on a car that already has them? Think about that..........................

Ok

But I still wonder why they are there at all. I see lots of cars that have blank inserts that look like they're made for optional lights that weren't installed. Just seemed similar. ' Why would Infiniti make a part to be modified for the install of fog lights on a car that already has them?'
And yet the coupe does , just not the sedan, yes?

Has anyone taken out the clock on an 06 G?
I was able to remove the climate display, but haven't gotten the clock out from there yet. I was hoping it would not require me to unscrew the whole climate backing, but it still feels pretty snug after undoing the top 2 clips.

The only thing I can ever find online is the 03 Gs which is a completely different design and doesn't help.

I can make a how to later if there really isn't one yet for this design style, likely 05 and 06, since I couldn't find pics on even removing the display, but was able to get it out. Now I just need to remove the clock itself so I can replace mine.

I can show a pic later of the climate display pulled out if it helps, but I think you can understand what I am referring to.

*edit: added a quick photo showing the back side*

Well it wasn't easy, especially with only 2 hands, but I was finally able to get the clock out!

I put the rest of the climate display back in temporarily so I can still use it while driving and will just have to replace the clock after I purchase one.

Not sure what you're asking here but both coupe and sedan have fog lights. They work off the high beam dual filament bulb......

Need help with Dashboard fix!

Hey guys I'm new to this, I'll cut to the point. A piece of my dashboard is a bit detached and I really want to fix it because it looks horrible (my opinion). I don't want a costly solution, I was wondering what you guys think I could do myself to fix my dash panel.

Fix instructions: http://forums.nicoclub.com/top-glove-box-repair-removal-t324205.html

Townshend: "I just followed them last week and it worked like a charm. I removed everything and used 3M high strength adhesive, used a couple of clamps and some tape to hold the leather down for a few days then installed it back in the car."

I got another one at a wrecking yard. Kept my old one, going to glue it down so if the replacement goes bad, I'm ready this time.
