Edit; i didnt see your whole question. But i went in the assumption you thought you needed to do all that work in order to change the pump
if you only need ti do the pump check the li k below
This site might as welll just be locked because nobody ever replies and if they do its always someone that doesn’t do their own work or is just negative. Even the older posts are negativet this isnt a very creative group just saying. I saw a video on YouTube about doing the water pump and they really had it down to a simple task. While most people seem to be under the impression you need to take all kinds of stuff off this guy made it looke easy ill find the link

LOL this same exact vid got me super pumped at first when i had to do mine... Nissan didn't want us having a good time with our 35HRs lol
OP, check my thread here: https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...45k-clock.html
It's pretty straightforward, just very tedious. Most time was spent removing and putting back on all the surrounding accessories.
Parts I've ordered from Z1:
1x
OEM VQ HR/VHR Main Timing Chain
OEM VQ Main (Lower) Timing Chain Tensioner
OEM VQ Top Timing Chain Guide
OEM VQ Long Timing Chain Guide
OEM VQ Lower Timing Chain Crank Sprocket
350Z / G35 Thermostat & Housing VQ35 Selected Options:
Engine Type: VQ35HR
OEM VQ35HR / VQ37VHR Rear Timing Cover Oil Gallery Gasket Selected Options:
Side: Both
OEM VQ / VR Front Crank Seal
OEM Nissan Fluid Gasket (RTV)
OEM VQ35HR / VQ37VHR Water Pump
