Fuel pump/sending unit confusion

I recently learned that my fuel gauge is lying (showed half a tank when it ran dry...) and I narrowed it down to a sending unit issue. I checked the left sending unit and resistance looks fine, but the right one that's part of the fuel pump assembly is pretty off. The resistance was around 28 ohms, which adds up to the approximately 3/4 of a tank which the cluster showed (even though it only has 5-6 gallons of gas in it).
I've been trying to find a complete assembly for it, and while I'm not opposed to grabbing one from the junkyard, it seems to be a common problem on these cars that the gauge isn't accurate. I would rather just go with a new unit.
Only problem is FINDING a fuel pump assembly for a 2006 sedan. It seems that the coupe ones are available everywhere, but the sedans appear to use a different sending unit. Does anybody have any input on this?

Coupe, Premium package, sport suspension
Post the part number. Lots of secondary market vendors. Folks can quickly check a few of their favorites if you make it easy for them....

I'll check on that, I didn't notice a part number on it but I didn't take a close enough look either.

Not any part number to be found... that's annoying.

Here's your part number: 17042-AC700

These folks have really clear part diagrams:

Search on the part number at various sources and good luck!

Thanks for that link! That's the pump part number though, I would need the whole assembly. I guess I could just replace the level sending unit though, I think I might just do that. I'd prefer to replace the entire assembly, but the pump still works fine otherwise.

Pretty sure they come as a single item and you can't buy just the level sensor. If you look through some of the billions of threads about this problem that we all share - you may find some who have had success cleaning the contacts of the sender which, amazingly, are just exposed and sitting in gasoline their whole lives. You'd have nothing to lose by attempting that first...

I'll give cleaning it a try, nothing to lose I guess. From what I saw the part number for the sender alone is 25060-AM600, so it is available separately.
