One other nice thing about not having my own car is the ability to drive other people's too!!! :P

Well my small suspension problem literally took half the day to fix and I didn't even fix it all the way. I ended up swapping my JICs for some Stance coilovers, got all the way to the last bolt on the last strut, and the damn thing stripped on me. So I had 3 Stance coilovers, and one JIC lol. Also found out that my Quaife LSD is broken
. So not a good day for me at all. I think I got maybe 2 timed laps.

350ZNV,
what a shame, man.
again, sorry to hear about the suspension woes.
it hits close to home for me because i've had issues with suspension as well.
never had to miss out over half a day of tracking, but nonetheless, i feel your pain.
hope it all gets resolved soon and i'll see you on the track at the next event.

Your car looked awesome rolling into the track by the way. It sucks you showed up as everything was dying down, but it was nice meeting you nonetheless.
Next event for my Z will be August 5th at SOWS for the Volk/Macking Industry track day. I don't know if I will be the one driving it though because I wouldn't be able to leave Vegas until that morning. I will be there at least by mid-day though.

you're too kind.
in terms of tracking, i'm probably going to be doing the Big Willow event in October (if i remember correctly)
I showed up a little late (understatement) but the heat was just OVERBEARING.
Oh dear God, i thought my hair was melting.
LOL!
But it was great to see u man.
And again, good luck on the suspension.
JIC seems to bring heartache to most of the people i've seen with them.
Let's hope the Stance CO's work out better.
Take it easy man.

Folks,
Thanks for coming out. It was another great event minus the ungodly hot weather. I found it completely ironic that the weather at Pahrump (Neveda) last month was 1000x better. WTF! I wish I could have tracked my wounded G too, but it was a smart decision to pass. Fortunately I still got to track other cars and that kept me from going insane.
Dinner was great guys. Thanks for the birthday gift!
Also for those who attended as spectators, I hope yall had fun too and hope to see you 'tracking' next time. Where are all the pics? Mike? Wing? Where yall at? Let's see em! I was too lazy to take any myself.
I haven't decided yet, but I'm thinking our next event may possibly take us to Infineon (formerly Sears Point) in Sonoma. That is another marvelous track that everyone should experience at least once. This one will be through Trackmasters rather than SpeedVentures. The tentative schedule is either early Oct or sometime during November. Yall game???
Andy (Chenga),
You rocked! :thumbs up:
A commendable job you did. Thank you for making my job so simple! Way to represent the 4Ds too. You were really attacking the banked turn after a few tips (bye bye Porsche!). I managed to sprain my neck trying to fight the g-force riding shotgun (no joke). By the end of the night (after our dinner) I was completely miserable. Thanks again for coming down to join us from Sacramento.
Tony,
You crazy one handed 'suicide handle' drifter!
Your lines were pretty decent, it's no wonder you were among the fastest of this pack. Good job! Think you can be just as fast w.o. the MREV 2? :P Thanks for driving all the way out from Valencia to join us too. It's always good to have you join us.
Mike,
Sorry to hear about the suspension trouble. Man you crazy for driving all these ways from NV for SoCal track events! The VRT folks don't ever mess around. How many trailers do they have again?

OMG it was burning hot!
aaaaaaaaaaah.
on the way to the track, my Blitz-meter was telling me that my Intake Temperature was sitting at 180º.
I was sitting in 108º weather, traffic, going 2mph.
But still, that was scary to see that.
I think everyone had a FANTASTIC time at BJs afterwards.
We had AWESOME food, some CUTE waitresses, some TALENT walkin around,
the ice cold beers, and GREAT company.
And BTW guys, thanks again for the gifts.
I REALLY appreciate it.
I couldn't ask for any better gifts, really.
A gift i can share with Gloria and another to tear it up on the greens.
Its was a great little get-together.
See you guys at the Dent Day potluck.
Come dinged and come hungry...
Laterz!
