$340 for one day? Man, I think I paid $200 something for two days at Buttonwillow with NASA. I guess I could think about it as a bad speeding ticket, but a hell of a lot of fun.

I think I'll come spectate, haven't addressed possible heat issues with the turbo yet. Maybe I'll roll my stock 240...you guys will just destroy me on the bank. Haha

Simply put ... this California Speedway a 'tier-1' track. Buttonwillow is a 2nd/3rd-tier track and costs significantly less. For your reference Speedventure's cost at Buttonwillow avg. $170.

I know ... sucks, but gotta pay to have fun.

No worries with who's faster or not. This is, and always has been, about having fun and learning at the same time. Driving = more fun than specating ... that you can be sure of.

See you there!

I'm down for that.

BTW got the Nismo 18x9.5's all around with toyo R compound tires on order. Gotta have some wheels and tires to pair up with the XP10 Carbotech pads and Motul brake fluid.

Gonna have some fun testing new mods at the speedway.

Yeah, at least come out and hang out. We're planning on doing something afterwards too.

In terms of brakes, what do you guys recommend for an 06 6mt coupe? With stock rotors, what sort of brake pads should I run? I would like to use pads that won't kill my rotors, but are good enough for the track.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
