my windows are already done I used isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol), it's about a buck for a 16oz bottle

You have to understand, we had about 4 hurricanes that were supposed to hit New Orleans a month before Katrina. We didn't even get rain from any of them. The news always exaggerates the situation and alot of people just did not think it was going to hit at all.
Luckily, I was in Houston for a car show when the storm hit.

haha - we got some serious rain and wind - a little worse than our normal t-storms. windows howled a couple times, otherwise nothing.

Sugar Land was safe. Nothing happened. I was waiting for the lights to go out but they never did. Damn I hate taking the tape off the windows.

FYI, the "experts" say taping the windows dosen't really help for a hurricane.

HAHAH....and the "experts" said it was coming straight for Houston too!.....HHAHAHAA....oh well you can't predict the weather...Good to hear everyone is safe and sound and in good spirits....I'm soo...glad not much happened...my G was parked outside...

I thought you tape your windows just so the glass doesnt explode everywhere?


Nice to see that everyone was ok. Sucks for our neighbors though, first katrina and now they get some of rita.
