Fuji Exhaust

anyone in SoCal have the Fujitsubo exhaust on their coupe? I'm thinking about getting this, but i wanted to hear it in person first. I would prefer to hear it on an automatic coupe, but manual will do. Let me know guys.

thanks!

Fuji exhaust is way too quiet for me. But if that's what you're looking for, then you really can't go wrong with this exhaust. It looks nice and is pretty damn quiet for an aftermarket exhaust.

"ohsobad" has it on his 05 6mt.

Let me say this - if I didn't already have my HKS exhaust, I would highly consider getting the Fuji exhaust. It's real quiet and subtle during idle and cruising, but when you step on it it really opens up and roars - not to the point where you will attract too much attention, get in trouble with cops, etc. etc., but enough to get noticed and enjoy the tune.

thanks for all the input guys. I'm pretty sure that i want this exhaust, but the last time I bought an exhaust (Fast Intentions) it didn't turn out as expected. That exhaust had too much drone for me and I ended up taking if off after about 3 weeks. I'm not looking for something that's overly aggressive, so I'm pretty sure that this is the one for me.

g4s, what other mods do you have? any drone? hit me up when you're in the OC, i'm really interested in hearing it in person.

keep the opinions coming guys. can anyone comment on if there's any drone? anyone know how much more or less this one weighs compared to stock?

as far as breathing mods, currently have stillen intake, z-tube, and crawford plenum. no drone at all. same experience with the exhaust by itself and also with a 5/16" spacer. i prefer it over stock and dont regret the purchase. its quiet and subdued, deeper than stock and not as tinny sounding. plus i have a fetish for large single walled tips.

at one point i did install some crawford HFCs, which i took off the next day. that made it drone.

ill let you know when im in OC.

i think we're in love with the same girl

oh and to add to your questions.... i had the Fuji exhuast and the fuji y pipe and was very happy with it... i think if you were to get HFC's it would set it off even more.... there is pretty much zero drone

Hey Drtybrd,
Like Calvin said it's quite, but when you're on the freeway or when you get on it it really sounds good and no drone what so ever. When i first put it on I was like..what the hell you cant even hear it, but once it broke in, I noticed it really comes alive, and the gains are pretty nice too, low and mid. But anyway good luck with whatever you get.

Fuji exhaust was my second choice.... I have always like the Greddy Evo2 cans....kinda like double Ds =) so I had to pull the trigger on the Evo2...but if I didn't go that route, Fuji was next in line!

I have the Fuji on my G coupe. sounds good. I don't have cats either, but I make up for it with the TT setup. Sounds mean and not too loud. I like the loud, but around here U need to be safe with the DB's.

I bought in like April of last year and the night after I got it installed someone hit me and totaled my car. I enjoyed his exhaust for about 5 hours.

But its ok I loved that 5 hour period and got the same one once a I got another car
