From: Waltham Ma,
Serious heistation.

Ok has happened 2-3 times. When I'm rolling in 1st gear very slow like 5mph if a gun if the car it hesitates something nasty almost like fuel cut. I accually lung foward in my seat. Has anyone had this issue before?? It also takes a good 2-3 seconds to downshift with I go WOT. I know these have a learing ECU and my wife drives it most oif the time and she never floors it I mean never. Could this be the issue. The car is freaking out when I dump it? there is NO CEL..

I was gonna say VDC cutting power until i saw the AWD.

If you want a fast downshift, pop it into DS as u floor it.

I was going to say VDC as well.

I have an X, the only time that happens is when the VDC is on.

btw Rick, stop messing about on forums and call me back doggone it, Andy from from area code "780!!!"

Try "rolling" it down instead of mashing it. DBW is programmed to prevent traction loss if at all possible.

Does anyone know if the ECU has to learn the new air flow?? The bog happens at 2k RPM's I check it last night. THe RMPS will rise right to 2k then stop like I hit a wall then it will pick up again..

turn vdc off and drive your car that way for some time meaning hard/flooring it. it happens i guess you call it the ecu needs to learn. drive it hard for a week, and youll see a difference.

I dont think that'll work.

Our ECU is apprently tied into our A/T transmission.

Call me crazy but i have had the same problem with HFC's .... Hit me up and I'll discuss it
