Can't fill tank all the way??
gas fill issue
there is some thing called a shuttervalve cover which needs to be installed in the gas tank to avoid the fuel filler issue
go to the dealership with very low fuel in the car
reason being the tech would have to take you fuel pump out and install the shuttervalve in tank and and the lower the fuel level the better the tech will feel to work cause he will have to shove his hand in the fuel tank to install the cover (if the fuel tank is more than half full it will prettymuch burn/skin rashes the tech's hand )

mine started after i let the car hibernate for 3-4 month. 1/4 cant get filled. im out of warranty so as long as its 3/4 filled im fine for now , how much the shutter valve costs? just the parts?
I had this problem fixed under warranty before and now I can only fill up 3/4. Does anybody know If they dealership will fix it again If the parts are bad? It hasn't been a year yet.

I have been going thru the same issue....but the best way that I fill the tank is to insert the nozzle and leave it alone not touch it all and it sucessfully fills the tank...my buddy is an infiniti lead tech and he gave me that tip...he also commented that fuel pressure is different from the states and japan that's why our cars tend to have that issue his best advice was not to touch it after we begin to pump gas.....
had this exact problem about 2 months ago went to the dealer and got all the valves replaced and all new fuel lines... thats the only way to fix it it used to drive me crazy leaving thr gas station and getting less than 190 miles to empty
ok guys let me tell you my story.
I was having this problem for some time and all i was doing was reading my KM because my tank was showing empty most of the time. Sometimes when I had a full tank the needle would go only at half tank mark. One day I made my calculations wrong and got stuck without gas. At the start I thought was my engine so I made many attempts to start and consumed all the gas in my tank, gas line and engine. Ran to the gas station and filled an emergency contenier with 5 liters. After that drove to the gas station and got a full tank. To be exact it was 74.02 liters. Since that day i never had any problem with my fuel gauge and it is measuring 100%.
