My first DYNO ! ! ! (sedan w/ mods)

So I went to get my first ever dyno. It's a place in Hicksville, Long Island, called Performance Motorsports. The spot is awesome, there's turbos lying around everywhere, exhausts, trannys, motors... some sick cars parked in and out. A very sick drag racing 350z.. not a single stock part on it though, and no engine yet.

The dyno was a PowerDyne - Mustang Dynamometer. Sorry for the crappy pics, my scanner is ****ty. Atleast I show my results...

I think most of you will tell me that the numbers are exaggerated, and that on a different dyno, they will be alot smaller. I don't care, I'm happy with them, since people get about 230-235 stock on the same dyno. My mods are listed in my sig. I only run 93 octane and the temperature was 74 degrees.

imo, exaggerated given your mods, especially on a Mustang Dyno. MD's generally read quite a bit lower than Dynojets.

Intake and exhaust dont give you 70rwhp! If that is at the crank through some translation then I could believe it....there is no way an N/A G put that down!!!

Nice numbers.

As long as your happy, thats all that matters.
FYI. I have seen freak things happen before with cars on dyno's.
Great numbers, Nice power curve on the print out.

Yeah looks like corrected crank numbers to me or they played some games.

Either way you now have a baseline to compare future mods to.

I'm AT... yea I know the numbers are high.. why do you think they are like this? The guys didn't mess around with anything, I saw the numbers appear on the computer as they dyno'd the car.

I need to go to the same dyno with a stock G and see what numbers it gets. I hope it gets like 240, so I can have a big fat smile on my face. I know it wont...

+1

You can have a dyno read 20-600whp on the same car depending on how you set it up. That's why dyno's are mostly for testing mods and not for looking for the highest numbers. There are too many variables.
