Lightbulb UNICHIP or ????

I have found that i can order an unichip that comes with the program already installed that includes the exhaust and k&n Intake.
I am running very lean and my car backfires only some when it is cold.
What would you suggest. I do not live in an area that has a tuner close and i really just want a piggyback system that i can plug it up and go. really one that requires no additional work from me... I want to be able to plug it in and go and not tinker with it.
what would you suggest??
Does the unichip sound like the best thing for me. or ???? suggestions please?
Here are my engine mods..

HKS Hi-Power Ti Exhaust
K&N Cold Air Intake
Copper Isothermal 5/16" Plenum Spacer
T-Pros High Performance Stainless Steel Test Pipes

I figured that eventually i would get a unichip tuner to tune my chip to my car but it will be awhile until i travel again and get to stop by and do this.

Thanks for your help

You might consider the Osiris from Uprev. A search at My350Z and here on 'Driver will yield you quite a bit of useful information.

get the uprev tune for sure. im going out there to get a custom tune done on my car and i have pretty much the exact same mods on my car, so they will probably send you a map pretty close to mine if not mine.

What is a UniChip?

Is it some sort of piggyback that connects to the ECU?

I have UpRev's Osiris and was going to advise you to get it, but I see that you have already purchased the UniChip. I'm curious to see how it works out for you.

Good luck!

I found a company on Ebay that sells much cheaper. And yes its a piggyback. They preload all of your add-ons if you have any. There are many tune shops. but unfortunately for me none close.. I think 4 hrs is the closest. so next time i go on vacation, im going to schedule an appointment to get the rest of the stuff added on.
How do you like the UpRev's Osiris..???? simple???

I've been very happy with it. I gave them a list of my mods and they created a ROM file that I burned into my ECU with their Osiris software. It made quite a bit of difference.

After that, I logged to A/F, timing, and other ECU parameters and e-mailed them back to UpRev. They created a personalized ROM file for my specific car and I flashed that. I'm waiting for it to get a bit colder. I'm going to have them create a separate map for colder weather... as cold as it gets in Florida anyway.

I have five maps that I switch between using the cruise control buttons. It's a nice system.

Just installed.. It has two different settings with it.. One that you can run everyday on.. set to a lower octane and another that has more aggressive settings.. You can tell when you hook this thing up.. I like it so far.. gonna have to do a little more driving to get use to it.. But i would recommend.. I am just looking forward to getting this setup for my car. and all of the add-ons.. but overall.. i am impressed..
