I have an 07 AT and will be installing the following mods when I get back in Apr:

Injen CAI
Borla Cat Back
Grounding kit

These are the only engine mods I plan on doing, maybe an UD pulley down the road but that should not affect the ECU.

I plan on having one of the places re-flash the ECU and was looking for good/bad experiences with either of them. I searched the forum and read what info was on both of them and when I googled AAM there were complaints in 2006 from people that used them...that was 3 years ago so hopefully whatever issues they had are behind them.

I live in Chesapeake, VA and the closest tuner to me is in Northern VA so having it tuned on a dyno is a second choice.

Do you use the same software that TS uses? What is the turnaround time on the ECU?
Do you need a dyno sheet showing current a/f ratio's so you can lean it out or do you use a standard a/f ratio that is safe for my mods?

How long have you been there and do you know anything about the complaints lodged against AAM from 2006?

 

You have an 07 AT, get Osiris UpRev when it releases. If can't wait get Technosquare. How many Flashes have AAM done on HR motors?

 

What are the advantages of the Osris Uprev and I don't have a tuner within 3-4 hours of me.

I don't know how many flashes AAM has done, I hope Jeremy answers my questions.

 

Dave at Function:TUNED is 3-4 hours from you, he's an authorized Pro Tuner with the Osiris software. He can do a dyno tune and get the most power/economy from your car.

AAM uses the same Techtom software Technosquare uses, they may have their own base tunes created with it though, which is what most companies do. But a dyno tune is always a better choice.

If you don't want to venture to Function:TUNED you can get the Osiris Standard when we release it, and with that you atleast have the ability to verify the tune on your car. No point in sending your ECU out and ending up running too lean and having no way to check.

 

The other issue is cost; reflashing the ECU is around $550 and getting a tune at a dyno shop is around $1100 for the dyno, tune and the tuner's time.

Plus for the mods I have it may not be worth the money..

 

What will be pricing on the Standard be and what are the benefits of it?

The $1100 was from a someone who used them in the past.

 

From what I’ve found I think it’s more like $700 for a full dyno tune on Osiris...I’m going on Saturday for my re-flash!
