it doesnt show me anything about repinning or anything

 

It shows you ECM harness pin layouts, that's all you need. If you don't know how to repin a harness you'll need to watch some Youtube videos. I'm sure there are plenty.

 

I’ve read this whole thread hoping to find a solution to tuning my 2003 manual g35, admin ignores, and other places “ aren’t sure”. I think there is ecutech which only allows one map. I’m drifting/ daily this car so I would like to change my maps with my cruise control. Anyways can I switch my oem ecu and harness with 2004 manual g35 ecu ( does it matter coupe or sedan? ) someone told me might not work because i have the older transmission , he must of thought i was auto right? CAN I swap my 03 manual sedan ecu with a 04 manual ecu from a coupe? Also I plan to jdm swap down the line how will the ecu swap effect that?

 

Have you looked at the physical ECU and verified which one you have? Some of the 03 sedans are tuneable

 

I will check in the morning , what ecu would I need (that’s in there) and where would you recommend to tune in SoCal ?

 

Take a look and see which one you have. Most people incorrectly assume that NONE of the 03 sedans are tuneable but in reality half of them have the new style ECU (and all the coupes) that we can tune. See the attached picture.

As far as who can do the tune, I'm your guy

 

let’s go ! I have the black ecu, I can’t see if it’s 3 port or 2 port. You’re able to put multiple maps for the tune ? I’m asking because I noticed a lot of people can only do one map. Check DM

 

Its your lucky day. As long as you've got one of those 2 with the green checkmark next to it then we can tune it no problem as is. Won't know if map switching is available for your ECU until we plug in and check the ECU part #, some have it some don't. That's dependent on how much memory was available for Uprev to work with
