I honestly gave up on that idea quickly.

but here is a picture of the harness.

Hold up. By lookin at that harness its just a simple patch harness. Something ive been selling for a while now.

So you got a patch harness and wanted to wire in a EMB?

I thought you where swapping to the newer style ecu, the black connector ecu.

That patch harness is cake, ive been making those and wiring UTEC's to them for maximas/altima/sentras with 3.5 swaps/ would even work in these early G's

Go to my site www.VoltageDrop.net

Im confused now man, what ecu did u purchase brand new? Black or grey connector?

What im looking to do is replace the old style ecu (GREY) with the new style ecu (BLACK) the black connector ecu UpREV osiris works with it.

Thing is with a patch harness i can make the early g sedans run on a haltech/utec/ w/e just like im doing for the maximas.

Well my initial goal was to make a patch harness for a emange or an SAFC..

Then I thought, well heck I'd love to play with the timing and knock control.

Then BAM BUMMER!

Then after much thought, I decided well, why not just get the newer connector make a patch harness from the OEM sedan wiring to the new ECU and if needed keep the old ecu to make whatever is needed to accomplish without the dash lighting up like a Christmas tree.

ok i see, so did you ever hook up a black ecu connector to your car?

With that patch harness like it is in the pics its impossible to hook up a black ecu to it.

Oh ok, hmm whats the point of the new ecu then??

Anyway, the Adapter harness will adapt the early g ecu harness to the new black ecu.

I thought that's what you had this whole time.

No one has tested out using the adapter harness with the new ECU (black connector)?

^guess not. I thought that's what Eric did, but apparently not
SurraTT did, but that was on a Maxima, which has several key differences from the first generation G.

I wish I could get my hands on a patch harness and the new style ecu... I'd give it a shot but unfortunately these days I am pressed for time with the strip clubs I have invested into

Thats right! The early g does have the grey connector ecu BUT the ecu is very similar to the black connector ecu.

While on the Maxima the grey ecu has quite a bit more difference than the black.

This is a good thing for you early G's!

Ok, So what if I buy the following items:

2004+ ECU
2004+ Wiring Harness
2004+ Console (Dash with Speedo and Tach)
2004+ Radio-A/C Controls

Will I need ANYTHING else to convert the car from 03 to 04+ ECU?

^Might want to hang tight for just a couple days.

I just got the experimental adapter harness in the mail today, but I haven't had a chance to test it.

Hopefully I'll get a chance tomorrow afternoon.
