Are you talking about IGN timing or CAM timing?

UTEC can control IGN timing

Haltech can control IGN AND CAM timing.

Bottom line how much would your system be what do i gain what do i lose?

haha if you went with pnp Haltech you would gain the great tuning of the system, and finally the early G sedan would be up to par with all the other G's that run a Haltech! you would lose the hate for your untuned car! haha and then be able to go FI if you wanted.

You need to get Ignition harness (for timing) and Injector harness (for fuel) in addition to the main harness. It controls it just fine.

If any eMANAGE was going to be used i dont see why you would go blue over ultimate? And if COST is the issue then just go UTEC, they are def the budget tuner systems.

Everyone's situation is different, but i can say on these early grey ecu cars tuning is nothing like the other ecu cars. There is no buying osiris tuner and being done. If anyone wants to email me and talk about stuff feel free, Darren@VoltageDrop.net

eManage blue may not be the best option, but it works well
emanage Ultimate is a better option - but i couldn't find one at the time I did my EMB.

So I've read all 12 pages of this thread. I have a Coupe with production date of 12/02. wondering if I have the same ecu as my 4dr cousins or the same as my 2dr siblings?
Looking into getting Osirus and wanted the same Cruise Control map controls as my buddy with a 2dr prod date 04/04.

I don't think any of the coupes have the older ecu

+1 - No coupe ever had the early ECU - It was only the early production 2003 sedans from build date 02/02-10/02 i believe. Most of them are "doggy door" trunk style sedans but all of them are 5AT. 6MT wasn't introduced to sedan til 2003.5 i believe.

Interesting to note... there are a very few Sedans around with 01/02 build dates!

01/02 - you sure? I was under the impression that 02/02 was the earliest build date. All my research and experience with parts showed 02/02. It wouldn't suprise me that much to see 01/02 though...haha
