I've got the new harness, just haven't got a chance to test it yet.

I found out that Jim Wolf can still re-flash our cars BUT they do NOT tune to the public. you basically would have to be local and know someone who goes through them for more upscale builds. which i do, i'm hopping they'll agree to re-flash my ECU w/JWT S2 cam install.

My question is when were they ever able to flash the early 03 ECUs? I absolutely loved my JWT ECU I had for my 96 Maxima.

they always where, from what i understand they and technosquare collaborated a lot on getting our ECUs hacked in the begging. like i said they don't tune to the public but they have tuned for many FI race builds.

Got the revised experimental harness tested today.
We're getting a lot closer!

Only thing left is to get NATS sorted out! (Unless somebody wants to loan me an ECU with NATS already removed?...... J/K)

SurraTT and I both have busy schedules, unfortunately... but hey, at least there's progress, even if it's slow

FYI, the 02/03 Maxima guys seem to have great results using AFCs with their modded VQ35s. Gains are typically in the 8 to 10whp range which is inline with that most see with their tuned G/Zs. Since our ECUs behave the same way as the Maxima ECUs, perhaps this is the best way to go with our early 03s. The Maxima guys ARE way ahead of G/Z owners in terms of creative ways to extract HP from their VQ35s. They do all sorts of creative parts/component swaps (cams, heads, short blocks, intake manifolds, etc). It's also why there are so many 12-second and lower 13-second NA 6MT/4AT Maximas running around. Spend some time on the "All Motor" section of Maxima.org and you'll see what I'm talking about.
