I'll ask next time I call, but I'm not sure how'd they flash that.

Still waiting... I'm telling you, when this thing finally works, it'll be a great day.

Didn't get a chance to call today, but willey, damn, it's been a while!

I will make it a point to call them tomorrow. I am not sure when this will finally get resolved, but it needs to happen soon because I want to go to the 1/4mi strip.

Called again today, Chris is at a show this week, so I'll just send him an email. They had a meeting yesterday in which they discussed my calibration. One of the tech guys is trying to track down the head engineer so he can tell me exactly what they're going to do about calibration. I'll post an update when Chris sends me some new info, or I get a call back.

These early ECUs seem to be a pain for more than just us customers!

Here's an update for everyone:

I talked to Chris on Friday, and he said they didn't have time to take a look at the ECU in the last few weeks because they were working on the tunes for the 370z/G37/Chevy gas trucks, etc. They were also out of town for a Summit show. He apologized (a lot) and said he'll get moving it on it next week. I know they are busy, so I hope that by next week/week after the damn thing will finally be ready. It's about 90% there, the unit hooks up to the early ECU, they just need to account for the different fuel maps, etc.

Let's see what happens next week. lerk, don't give up hope!

Called Chris today and left a message, he did not get back to me, and I haven't gotten any e-mails, so I assume that no progress has been made. I will call again tomorrow.

Honestly, I don't think this is going to happen. I wish I would have kept the email from the guys at UpRev where they described to me in great detail about how and why an ECM "flash" just won't work with a tuner and why sending in the ECU is essentially required. They went into detail about Technosquare's connections with Nissan and why they can reprogram the 03 and early 04 ECUs where as others can't.

You still have option of going with a Utec, spit second, unichip, emanage, heck any number of piggy backs that will do exactly what you want. Don't think that a reflash is the only way (or the cheapest) way to go.
