5at N/A build, poor results, need help

I just got the dyno resultson the n/a build for my '07 5at coupe, including:
-JWT S1 cams
-DLC valve lifters
-Momentum headers
-Art pipes
-HKS Hiflow exhaust
-trnsgo valvebody
-3.5 vlsd
-TB spacer

The solid line is the new (yes, tuned) run, broken line is from the Summer when I just had a z-tube, art pipes, 5/16th and an Osirus reflash. The gains seem unusually poor for cams and valvelifters, especially considering the engine lost some top end where I was expecting to gain the most. If anybody has some advice/feedback or has faced a similar problem please let me know (other than to say I should have just bought a supercharger.. thanks captain hindsight)!

One thing the tuner said was that you cant take away the 5at throttle cut at high rpm when it wants to get ready to shift.. even in manual mode. That seems like part of the problem, but there must be a way around that otherwise nobody with an AT would be tuning.. maybe its an '07 specific issue.

I would suggest a motordyne 5/16 spacer and Mrev2 to compliment your bolt ons and re-tune.

Might also be time to find another Osiris tuner.

I forgot to mention that I have a 5/16th md spacer and throttlebody spacer, so plenum volume shouldn't be the issue. I am definitly considring a diff tuner and a diff intake manifold. Although I thought the mrev2 was basically what I already have being a 5at.

We also tried a JWT popcharger and K&N Typhoon intake. Both lost power on the dyno vs my non-revup airbox ( but the TB spacer gained 1hp across the range ).

I am trying to get my hands on a used rev-up box. They are a ripoff at the stealership. And I have a ztube on.

Find a reputable Osiris/Uprev tuner. Stick with the Motordyne products.

I would ask some hard questions about the tuner. I'm assuming it was with Osiris again?

It was the same tuner on the same Dyno. I guessa second opinion from another shop couldn't hurt if it comes to that.

I'm assuming this happened at racing greed's Dyno? Everyone rags on me when I say it's low reading... But it is what it is man. Intec had me up to almost 520 on their dj and rg's mustang barely got me past 4.

Anyway if the guy I think did the tune I wouldn't be overly concerned about the numbers. I had the same issue with the setup to shift as well. The magician at Intec was able to massage out some of the delay but I'm afraid we are stuck with a slight hesitation.

Okay so the numbers disappoint- but how does it feel??

I have to admit it's a much better car now. I don't really notice any low end loss. And it pulls through through 3-4k noticeably faster as the HKS snarls and burbles. It's a night and day difference going from a 3.3 open diff to the 3.5 VLSD (especially driving in the rain today) Also, the transgo shift kit=Fun!

At this point I feel like I might have been better off just doing the rear-end, shift kit, and exhaust, Hopefully we can find a way to get some more power out of those cams and buckets.

And I hear what you are saying about RG's dyno, it read alot lower than Mopac's dyno (which is also a mustang dyno). Nonetheless, shouldn't I have gained something over the previous run? The max hp actually would have been 204 for both runs, but the $70 TB spacer gave it the extra hp! lol.. And also it was about 10 degrees celcius cooler than the Summer run.

Unless they were back to back baseline vs mod runs on the same day I'd make no promises- but I certainly appreciate how you feel. It's a kick in the Nutz- but what I would say is your car feels better, and its a safe tune.

If you want guys to put the screws to your performance and turn it up you may need to tell them to apply more risk but frankly longevity will be the first casualty of that offensive.

People also need to remember that some mods just don't result in tangible gains in ways we expect. Maybe that's the case here? Frick I read that cams add 100hp when done with headers... Doesn't mean it's ever happened.

If it was truly a bs mod I suspect the boys would have given you reason to reflect. I know nobody in here was banging on the hp / tq drum in your other thread though some were interested...I didn't see anyone come in sayin "best performance mod ever!!!"

Now then- if I were doing heads would I look into it? Goes without saying... Would I expect it to make a difference with a few breather mods and a tune? Well- sadly... Not anymore

Please see my Dyno for my BONESTOCK G35 with a pathetic K&N filter along with Z-tube which adds .00001hp. I have a stock REVUP motor with cd009 manual tranny. I would expect you to get much higher numbers than what is posted. Sounds like a ton of money for "diamonds" in your engine and they did not seem to pay off. Also can't you play with solenoid pressure or line pressure to help keep your shifts in check (not really sure as I have a manual and she always stays in check ).

Edit: BTW that was on shitty 87 octane gas
