I am not an expert, but when I look at the dyno graph, after 6600 RPM, the HP drop down. So my question is, why do you increase the rev limiter if there is no gain in HP after 6600 RPM?

^^It allows you to stay in the power band better when shifting @ that high rpm.

Good question..Probably cause thats what everybody wants for some odd reason... I think Technosquare started doing it to prevent you from hitting the revlimiter and allow you to shift at the 6500 rpm range without bouncing off the fuel cut..

There is no point. The UTEC will do all the things the reflash will and more!!It has so many features that a reflash will no longer be an option..

Just an update, the car was retuned today with the stronger actuators and at 13.6 psi in 5th gear the car maxed out their Dyno... They will be doing more tunning after SEMA and I will post some numbers then. For now everything is being kept hush hush..

The aluminum design of the VQ motor limits you to right around 600hp at the crank on a non sleeved block. This is a safer HP level then pushing 600 hp on a non sleeved motor. Some have had great success with pushing it further, Shariff being one,and Performance motorsports in LI being another. I feel that as long as you do not detonate the motor "should" hold up for a while at these levels, however I do not wish to push the limits on "MY" motor.Well wait for someone else to do it first..lol Besides, once you surpass 450whp the car is hard to handle as it is..
Now we are working on a fully built and sleeved motor with a full valvetrain and head work, with cams that should supass the capabilities of the APS turbos AIR flow at around 650whp..Then be able to handle a shot of "special sauce"
As far as pushing the stock motors,I can not fathom how it is a good idea to run a 10.3:1 compression motor at 11psi of boost on street gas for extended periods of time.I know several people have done it and had luck with it,however I personally am a bit more conservative and realistic to my approach, and would not feel comfortable at that level on a stock motor, but thats just me..
We have done several G35's that put out about 410-430 whp and thats just fine for 99.999999% of people out there...Its that .000001% we worry about
Thats truely awesome...i wish i could only afford to push mid 500's to the wheels, and i don't even have a kid! good luck dude!

For FI, how does this compare to stand alone units, such as Greddy Ultimate?

Greddy Ultimate is a piggy back unit. The Utec is as close to a standalone as you will get. The EU and the UTEC have different features.

Just a few questions..

Does the Utech allow for automatic tuning via A/F inputs or will I have to be changing maps with every change of the weather, etc...

Do you know off hand how many tuning points the Emanage Ultimate utilizes.. Thanks..
