i did not read all 7 pages so this could have been answered already. why do people care about a mod if all it does it press the OK on your NAV screen? There has to be more to it, people cant care that much about such a small thing. What is so tough about pushing the OK button? Its not far away you can do it on the steering wheel? Im just confused thats all maybe someone can clear this up for me. thanks

Are you going to include instructions on how to remove the trim piece for those of us that have 6MTs?

it also adds the bypass for the NAV, so you can use the locked out screen while you are driving. it does NOT allow u to play video while you are moving tho.

The automatic ok thing is nice, but the point of this is to use all of the Nav functions while driving (full address searches,...). Basically being able to use every function that is locked out while driving Oh yeah, the video playback is still disabled for safety reasons.

that makes sense. i think its def worth it then if it allows for nav functions to be used while driving.

Most likely not. Our instructions are intended to be fairly generic by nature, and assume people know how to take the car apart. It simply isn't possible for us to provide step by step walk throughs for every product we sell for every compatible trim level. We typically do one thorough walk through to give people an idea of what is involved as the basic steps will be similar.

However, someone who has a 6MT is more then welcome to add this info to our support forum for others.

I finished the install guide today but I still need to proof read it. As soon as that is done I will move it along to be PDF'd and posted on our site for download.

Yeah, I messed up on the title of this thread.

On the earlier G35s you couldn't process the navi screen from the steering wheel, so the OK feature was huge. I personally hated reaching to the top right of the center console every time I started the car. I could deal with hitting the steering wheel button!

Removing shift ****

There are threads on the site that talk about how to remove the ****. They also explained how to remove the trim. I popped off the trim before so I could see how the **** is attached. You just hook your finger through the boot to the bottom side of the time piece and pull up.

Anyway, enough thread-jacking...

I must appologize for the delay guys. I have the test modules "ready" to go, but I still have to finish the jig to finish the plastic enclosures. I hope to get this done this week!
