Put Subs in now check engine light

Im confused. I installed my subs and now my service engine soon light is on and airbag light is flashing? Is it because i opened the b pillar bottom to run wires? on removed the rear seats???

Wassup Bradahjon,

I am just guessing but maybe the place you tapped into is feeding the air bag or the BCM? Check the fuse if it blew and try chaning the location that you tapped into if you tapped directly into the fuse panel. This is based on your earlier post for a tap point.

By the way, did you splice or use one of those fuse expansion adapters (Littelfuse Add-A-Circuit)? Not preaching just that those add a fuse are pretty friggen' cool since they are 100% removable which may be helpful.

Again, just a guess...good luck.

try this:

I have seen cars do this when messing with wiring and the battery still hooked up.

G'luck!
