I couldn't find a shop willing to do an actual load test.
I'm going to have to use the old method of calculating using wire diameter, active coils & overall OD.
That will not be deadly accurate but should be fairly close.
& enough to get a ballpark comparison.

...should have it pulled together tomorrow.

Spring data, ...post#50 updated.

spring rates are just a little firmer than the G, unfortunately the 370Z rears are too short

I decided to install fronts only to see how they work out.
I'm not sure how going slightly firmer on front only will be.

Anyway....
After all the playing around with measuring etc... I didn't get finished bolting her back together.
More pics tomorrow.

If the spring rates are OK, I'll do the rear perch mod to drop the rear a tad.

How much is a set of 370z springs anyway? from the dealer.

Cuz if only the front will work, and if its not too expensive, I may consider just swapping out the fronts and keeping the rear stock.

I dont mind the rear gap, but the front gap is dreadful. Also, this will give the car a "raked" look. I think that'll look nice.

what is a "rear perch mod"?

rear perch mod is also called the spring mount mod, where you shave it down some. Hey what are the spring rate on the g37, get the rears for that, it might lower it down enough for you.

the coil springs sit on them Wes. What Ian is saying, is by altering the height of the spring pad you can change the height of the vehicle a bit.
Here is an example of different ones for sale on this page: http://www.jegs.com/p/Energy%20Suspension/743954/10002/-1?sendroicid=bbef8492-2d00-41d6-b158-38db0de2603c&sendroiad=3824027261&sendroikwd=Coil+ Spring+Isolators&gclid=CIz4w_OK6ZkCFQEhDQod820_Qw
