Fujita Or Stillen Intake, Help!!

I just put on my Stillen exhaust and now I am looking for a intake, but I can't decide which one to get. Which one has better numbers on the dyno?

at the end of the day there probably going to put down the same "power" results. I went and ordered the fujita because it looks better honestly. By the looks of the filters im guessing its going to be louder as well.

If your buying an intake for the power gains you should just save your money and buy something else.

well since you already got a Stillen exhaust why dont you go ahead and get a Stillen intake? I mean there isnt alot of help anyone can provide seeing as tho only 1 or 2 people actually have either the Fukita or Stillen intake. IMO they are both going to perform good...the only question is do you want a hanging free intake like the fujita with not box or structural integrity or do you want the stillen that has factory mounting points and has nice boxes?

The problem with the "filter on a stick" is your pulling in hot air from the engine compartment. Enclosed would be better.

The only problems with the short ram intakes are the loss of low end torque which is where most of us drive. The added power is up high in the rpm range. I'm going into 5 years with the VQ35 engine design and I don't think I'll be putting an intake on my '07 G. If you want the added sound, they are nice. On my Maxima however, the intakes sounded pretty bad towards redline. The Fujitas look nicer, but the Stillen's heat shield is a nice touch. Both are going to have very similar dyno numbers. The cost of the Fujita is definately more reasonable. The Stillen is way out of touch, especially since it comes with less parts.

While theoretically true, someone on maxima.org tested temps throughout the entire intake track with both short ram and cold air intakes. Suprisingly the temps were almost identical. Stillens heat shield is a nice touch, but in reality it probably doesn't make much of a difference. Cold air is going to give you more hp/tq down low, but run out of breath up high where the VQ makes all it's power. Short ram is going to give you more up top, but you'll lose hp/tq down low.

Not to mention all the extra dirt that's going to get into the engine, especially with 2 intakes. I would love to see some oil analysis numbers from someone with the intakes installed.
