Intelligent Cruise Control, it monitors the vehicle ahead of you and slows down accordingly (it actually applies the brakes pretty darned well if it notices the car in front of you has slown down significantly or stopped altogether). There are three levels of distance sensitivity.
When off, ICC still monitors the vehicle in front of you and pre-loads the brakes should an emergency stop situation occur.

wow no way??? Ok do I have this? Because I've got cruise control on my car (never used it) and just today I was going to smash into the back of a car as I was changing lanes because he hit his breaks hard and I saw it at the last minute, I was wondering how I never hit him, so would mine be equipped with this? My car does not have the Tech package, i.e. it does not have Navi but it does have Bose sound system, and Aux connections in the armrest so would mine me ICC? or would it be just normal cruise control?

AFAIK, ICC only comes with the Tech Package, along with the Adaptive headlights.
To double-check, if your steering wheel has the button with a car icon with bars underneath it, then you have ICC.
It's above the "on/off" cruise control button in this pic.

Another easy way to tell if you have ICC is to look for the rectangular plastic window in the center lower portion of the bumper cover. It will look "out of place".
As for my options:
1) leave it as is
2) remove ICC sensor and replace with a new bumper cover
4) move ICC sensor above intercooler behind a new mesh grill and new bumper cover
5) Tommy Kaira bumper cover and try to get ICC sensor into the winow on the driver's side.
each has it's pros and cons.
